I’d like to start off by apologizing to all the people who often read my blog for not renewing recently (or, in other words, sorry mum!)

春は農作業に忙殺されていて、これからの夏もきっと忙しい。
Been a hectic spring, and set to be an even busier summer.

やっとラズベリーとブルーベリーの植え付けが終わったけど、草むしりと草刈りがほとんど毎日。
Raspberries and blueberries are finally all planted now, but I seem to spend every day weeding now.

しかも、恒例の6月干ばつが始まっているから、当然、水やりも大変。今日も30度を超えそう！
Plus, the customary June drought has kicked in so watering is taking up a lot of time as always. Set to top 30 degrees again today.

とにかく、一枚の写真は1000語にも匹敵すると思うから、写真をいっぱい乗せてその下に説明文を入れる。
Anyway, I think a picture paints a thousand words, so I’ll just put up a lot of photos with a line of explanation below.

気になるかもしれないけど、水やりは点滴灌水でやっている。水は近くの川からポンプで汲み上げられている。
Just in case you were wondering, watering is done via drip irrigation. Water is pumped from a river nearby.

Outside the greenhouse, about 140 blueberries have been planted.
