今日はいい天気だけど、もうじき台風並み暴風が来る。
Lovely weather today but typhoon-like winds on the way.

去年の冬に植えたラズベリーは順調。
Raspberries planted last winter are coming along nicely.

新しいブラックのシュートはもう出てきている。今年はとても速い。来年、これは実を結ぶ。
New blackberry shoots are coming through already. Very early this year. This will bear fruit next year.

ブラックベリー木の葉っぱが段々大きくなってきている。
New leaves on the blackberry plants are gradually getting larger.

ルバーブの収穫はもうすぐだ。今つぼみが多いから、一生懸命、咲く前にとっている。ルバーブは茎だけを成長させたいから、花を咲かせると茎の成長に邪魔します。
Not long before I can start harvesting the rhubarb. Producing a lot of buds at the moment so busy picking them before they flower. Only the stalks are grown, so letting it flower will obstruct the stalks’ growth.
