久々に畑へ行ってみて、ようやく雪が解けている。
Went to the field for the first time in ages. The snow is finally starting to melt.

幸いなことに、今年の冬の雪が少なかったから、被害はほとんどない。
Happily, due to the small amount of snow we got this winter, there’s hardly been any damage.

実は今日の天気がとても良くて、畑に行ってすごい気持ちがよかった。春はもうすぐって感じだった!
In fact, the weather was great today and it felt great to be at the field. Spring is around the corner!

去年新しく植えた木は元気のようで、今年はどのぐらい成長するのか楽しみ！
The newly planted blackberry plants look healthy enough. Can’t wait to see how they get on this year!

一番驚いたのはルバーブの芽がもう出てきているってことだ。去年より3週間ぐらい早い。
Biggest surprise was the appearance of rhubarb shoots. About 3 weeks earlier than last year.

雪が完全に溶けるのは数週間かかると思うけど、春が来るのが待ちきれない
Still be a few weeks probably before all the snow is gone, but I’m raring to go.
