今年は雪が早く来た。
The snow came early this year.

雪はほとんど溶けているけど、今週中また降ると予報されている。今年もホワイトクリスマスみたいだ。
Most of it has melted, but it’s due to snow more this week. Looks like we’re going to have another white Christmas this year.

しばらく畑で仕事ができないので、空いている時間に新しいジャムの味やブラックベリーを使ったケーキのレシピでいろいろ実験している。
Seeing as I can’t get out to the field for a while, in my spare time I have been experimenting with a few new jam flavors and blackberry cake recipes.

昨日このピスタチオクリーム・ブラックベリータルトを作った。自家製のシロップ漬けベリーを使ったから、甘酸っぱくて、ピスタチオクリームとよく合った。
I made this pistachio cream blackberry tart yesterday. The blackberries I used were homemade syrup-preserved berries so quite sweet and tart and went excellently with the pistachio cream.

家族はこれを素早く平らげてしまった。
The family polished this off pretty quickly!

ブラックベリーはその甘酸っぱさがたまらなくてケーキの材料として最高！
The tartness of the blackberries is irresistible and they make an excellent ingredient for cakes.
