いよいよ収穫の季節が来た。
Finally, the picking season is here.

まあ、実はラズベリーの収穫は１週間前からしているけど…
Well actually, the raspberry picking season started about a week ago.

でも、昨日は今年で初めてのブラックベリーをとった。
But yesterday, I picked the first blackberries of the season.

最初の実はなかなかいい大きさだ。これはデザートで食べた。甘くていい味した。娘にまた明日とるように命令された。
The first berries are quite a nice size. Had this for dessert yesterday. Quite sweet and great flavour. My daughter ordered me to pick some more tomorrow.

ところが、非常に強い台風が来ているようだ。被害があまり大きくなりませんように…
Trouble is, we have a nasty typhoon on the way…here’s hoping the damage isn’t too much…
